um, probably, but it would be a new generation of wii.... witch could be a problem...
the wii console hasn't changed sense it came out...
changing it now might hinder them...
overall, i think it is highly possible.
Also, this is just my opinion, don't take it to heart.
Having a handheld with 3D technology and a traditional console with 3D are two totally different things. The 3DS relies on the small screen and a particular viewing angle to produce the three-dimensional effect with autostereoscopy. For something like the Wii to implement similar effects would require 3D-TV technology, which has yet to really hit the market. I guess you can hope for something substantial in the awaited (yet sketchy) Wii 2, but there is nothing known about that except that it's not coming any time soon.
that could happen? you play the wii before. the graphics were better then the DS consoles. right? but i really don't know? what i think about it is. between your DS and your TV. your screens are different then the DS and the TV. like when you get a 3DS. it like buying a new TV.
When you get the 3DS. you will have some kind of type of screen that will aloud you to play 3D games. then tv will have the same old tv. so maybe i was wrong. i think they can't make 3D on the wii. but if they were to come with something you can put on your eyes. then yes. you could use that.

No, they'd have to make a new game platform and hopefully it won't be called the Wii. And while it is impossible now for them to implement[sp fail?], the same technology that the DS uses for 3D, they could use something else to create the 3d effect.
3-D puts intense strain on your eyes. the larger the screen, the more strain. Most people today have 60" tvs. If someone plays it for over an hour, they WILL lose colors from there sight.
No. The hardware wasn't built with the functionality to do it glasses-free as the 3DS does. Now with 3D glasses yes, as any system can do that, if the game was made with the capability to do so.
Anyway, the Wii has been incredibly successful. It doesn't need 3D. Nintendo's next home console will certainly support 3D however.
It's my job to help the next generation, and set a good example for them. And for that I'll gladly lay down my life.
Glasses-free 3D is a fairly new technology that is both developing and VERY expensive. Nintendo generally aims at the largest marketing base possible, so at this time they wouldn't target so few users of these 3D TV sets.
Some companies are making back-combatability to make already released games in 3D, but games with dedicated support are rare.
The key problem is that the tech is new and hasn't hit the mass of the working class yet. You need to display in HD to get the 3D effect anyway.
