I've noticed a few problems concerning the Battle option in the game.
One is that often there will be blank NPCs, NPCs with no names. On the battle menu, the name shows only "NPC:" on the tab. When it gets clicked, the description leaves out the name. So for example, it might say "shared fishy screenshots of you starting fights in a chatroom."
The other was the showing of multiple usernames on the battle menu. Now, obviously, when there are actual users playing the game at the same time as you, their name appears as a battle-able choice. But I don't think it should be showing names repeatedly scattered amongst the NPCs and the rest of the list.
My character has been Overlord for a while, but since I don't play the game regularly, I haven't noticed these glitches until now. So I don't know. Right now, the glitches are not appearing for new characters nor Overlords.
Additionally, another bug involves the green text signifying a win not always appearing when it should. The stats change accordingly as if the battle was won, but there is no visible result stating "Battle completed: You won."
I've come to the conclusion that the same name showing on the battle menu multiple times is not a glitch. It is instead just the result of lag while the player switches among characters.
@Redshreader That's because you obtained an item for winning a battle. I can't say for sure, but I don't think the item notification comes up every time.
Also, the very old negative battery glitch is still around. It involves one's battery dipping to a value like -5 before resetting to zero when returning to the menu. The reason for this is probably the system executing some calculation out of order (clicking very fast and/or efficiency glitch?), so that the battle is still completed even though battery is zeroed out.
sometimes when i clicked battle and battled a character npc characters tht is i dont really battle human players and the results come sometimes it is blank
@snaker556 What I mean is that the glitched battle goes the same as a normal battle would, but just doesn't show who you battled. (Actually, I would wonder whether the Battles (Offended) list would show nothing new or a character that should have appeared.)
And with the negative battery thing mentioned above, I'm more certain that this only happens when you only have enough battery to complete one more battle, and then you lose it.
Snaker, if you got banned in one battle, that is the result of a player battling you several times, except you didn't see it, because it was laggy for you.
