In setting there are two options for privacy..
-Activitys
-Comments
...
Can someone please give me an explanation as to what they are /do?

Where there is light, there is always darkness.

They hide the activities that you are your friends are doing and replacing it with "[Private]". Locked. Helpdesk next time? Locked.
