I have a Nintendo DSi, but I kept my old Game Boy Advance SP because I still had a few games for it that I like to play. I've had it for 4 years until I lost it in 2008. I had to buy a used one to play all the good old games (I bought my Nintendo DSi the next year). The used one is a special edition where the top half is black and the bottom half is silver. It works great, but the only problem is that the backlight is broken and it is hard to see. Is there any solution?
In that case, your backlight may be shattered or unplugged. Either way, you won't be able to do anything yourself. If your warranty is still intact, your best bet is to send the system in for getting the backlight replaced.
And that should be something to learn about buying used systems. You have to be very careful about what you're buying, because a lot of the time, they wear down all too quickly.
i had my SP on my pocket on 4th grade....
then a rubbish kid came close to me, and kicked me very strongly, then... i took my SP out... the screen was cracked.
i got suspended for 1 week for beating him up o-0
i was like: YOU SON OF A BISCUIT >:000
ice, i own one, and my threory for you is this:when you got kicked, since it cracked the screen, one of the backlights fell and hit something inside it, and it broke the backlight.
