To Limxzero,
What does NGP sound for? Also, I havn't seen any other threads related to the Sony NGP.To Drwho15,
Just because it isn't Nintendo, doesn't mean I can't put it in the 'Gaming' forum.
There for, I will not lock it.
The NGP is almost certainly going to be in the $350-$400 price range. Way to go Sony, a failing (sales-wise) NGP will kill you guys...again. Not that it doesn't have great features, but with a high price and almost certainly low battery life, Sony might just croak from this.
It's my job to help the next generation, and set a good example for them. And for that I'll gladly lay down my life.
Limxzero,
Alright you found proof. Good Job, heres a gold Star.
It also hasn't had a comment sense the 10th, and no longer is on the first three pages. In other words; I don't care.I hear that you have to download all your games, is this true?
Sony NGP will probably only get 500,000-800,000 sells due to its overpricing, copied material, lack of battery life, and weekly 3G pay. They'd have to play it smart and low the price to an estimated guess of 28,000¥ ($280) to recieve some decent sells. But everyone now and through the year will try to get there hands set on a Nintendo 3DS because it is simply a category of one. People wont really bother about NGP because now we can expect what they are coming up with. And 9.8 times out of 10, People LOVE SUPRIZES. So sorry Sony, but this might not get as much sells as the 3DS when Nintendo releases 3DS' with more GB's.
@KoD That's what everyone thought about the PS3 (which my dad bought) after the PS2 (which sold 140 million units), but the PS3 didn't do well at all until lately (about 42 million sold) mainly because of the price. I do like Sony though.

Actually, a survey done by Ubisoft, a major game publisher, hints at a 250$ standard and 350$ 3G Model, Sony already said they were aiming for an affordable price point and learned from past mistakes i.e PS3 launch..
@L337 With the amount of tech. inside the NGP, there is absolutely no way they could go under $300, and even then they'd be selling it at a loss of money per system sold. Having a 5 inch, OLED touch screen, 3G connectivity, a rear touch pad and nearly PS3 level graphics make this a certain high pricer. :/

My point. The NGP will be at least $300. Maybe $280, depending onsells. But I dont think it will come close to breaking the 3DS's sells with already over 4 million devices sold in Japan and UK alone. It may get up to $1 million if they lower the price.
