I read that Nintendo is making a deal with At•&•t and that the 3DS will be able to use all of At•&•t's hotspots for free. Now thats pretty cool.

Yes, this old news, but true nonetheless. By the time that the May update happens, 3DS users will eventually have access to thousands of AT&T Wi-Fi hotspots; it has nothing to do with 3G.
