I'm hearing rumors from friends that there will be no more pokemon games coming out.
Is this true?

@KoD ...I'm surprised you have to ask. The Pokemon series is the 2nd best selling series in gaming, having sold over 200 million games total (only behind the Super Mario games). It would be a stupid business move to do so. Now, it's possible that GameFreak wants to work on other things for a while (like they did with their GBA classic, Drill Dozer). But no, it's not going anywhere anytime soon.

It's my job to help the next generation, and set a good example for them. And for that I'll gladly lay down my life.

There obviously might be a 3DS Installment of Pokemon.

There is no longer development in the works for new DS-Family Pokemon installments. As Red said, in a year or so, we'll get a 3DS version featuring Chicago or LA.

No one in the pokemon company (or GameFreak) DIED WAT-SO-EVER so there is no reason for them to quit...They have tons on Moneh!$$

No. There making good money from doing this. Pokemon won't stop until they get old and retired. then that's when it ends. And maybe they'll get more people to run the games and show.
