@craig Er, why wouldn't user created stories be uninteresting? Even though many would undoubtedly suffer from poor quality of writing, I'm certain that some users may be able to write good stories.

The Library won't be limited to fiction, but fiction will be the bulk of Library content.
I'm also curious as to how Library entries will be organized. Will it be similar to the featured blogs (day-to-day), or will it take the form of a more structured, categorical collection?
And surely there will also be a "regular" badge linked to quantity of library entries.
I can't wait for it! If users can submit their own stories, then that's where I'll put mine. I don't like putting it in blogs, and there's no way I'm showing it to people in real life. I have so many ideas in my head right now, I'm about to burst oAo
Ha. My book will be submitted in the library. I already have 22 chapters in my blogs and it's long and it's original. Thus is one story that alot of people like.
The posibility of user created "books" and book series has me excited, as I'd like to write several short stories, some pertaining to current social issues.

Hm. I think that there should be an area which displays literary works that are particularly good. Not exactly the same as featuring blogs, in that it isn't something that would necessarily have new content every day. A kind of, Hall of Fame for authors, poets and the like. Maybe give a special badge to those whom get one of their works into it?
