Several members have been asking for me to add their websites to the affiliate links. I will gladly add any DSi-related websites to DSiPaint.com and Wii-related websites to WiiOperaSDK.com under the following conditions:
1. There must be a decent amount of content available. A website isn't ready if it is just an empty shell or under early construction.
2. If the website requires membership to see the majority of content, there should be something publicly available that explains the benefits of membership. Most people will not sign up for a website whose homepage is just a login screen. Something needs to entice membership.
That just about covers it. I want to leave the doors open to many great affiliates in this fast-growing community.
Oh, any one more note: I see threads in this forum that ask about how to have a website added to affiliates. There is no need to submit websites. I check these forums every day and periodically look at the websites in the threads. If I miss adding one that fits the criteria for the first post in this thread, and it rolls off the first page of the forum, go ahead and bump it with a post so that I know to check it out, again.
I sent a submission to hullbreach@dsipaint.com before I read this, that's what someone told me to do. Was this correct? It was a very long and detailed e-mail. If not, my site is dsiplaza.webs.com.
my site is DSiRevolution.x10hosting.com, which has a Wii DSi, but is currently down, because a hacker deleted all my pages. so it has more than it looks like.
Ask Firestar123123 first, but he said already he wanted a link to his site in the affiliated websites. It's called Wipeout.onmbl.com
I've already started advertising the benifits of joining for him, but check with him before adding it as an affiliate.
