Okay, first of all, that's two different definitions of "scary".

1 (scary movies): Something that instills fear.
2 (toast/toaster): Surprising or startling.

So, yeah, that's entirely possible. I wouldn't know if I am one such person because:

A: I didn't have a toaster for years.
B: I don't watch scary movies.

Simple as that. Go ahead, call me a wimp, but I fear nothing and no one except God and people armed with guns.
