After giving it some thought, and getting ideas from Haruspex, I have decided it would be a worthwhile project, for everyone, to start a book club on here.
I know that there are people of many different ages on here, and not all books will be appropriate for a younger audience, so I intend read any book before I recommend it here, and supply what age groups I think it would be appropriate for.
The plan would be to pick a book, give a specified time to read it, and then plan a chat event about it, as well as discussing it here in threads. Perhaps if we ever get savii contests up and running we could theme some around the books we read here.
The books I choose will be more literature than junk best sellers that will be forgotten in a few years. I'd like to have a large variety of books covering many topics.
I'm reading "All Quiet on the Western Front," by Erich Maria Remarque right now, and hope to use it as the first book, but I plan to finish it first and see what age groups it would be appropriate for.
Please feel free to post below what your favorite books are, or which you would like to see us cover. =)

1. Keeping You A Secret by Julie Anne Peters (geared towards mature teens, for mild sexual refrences)
2. A Child Called It by David Pelzer (all of that series would be good)
Love is like the beat of my heart whenever you cross my mind. Love is like the smile on my face whenever I look into your eyes
This sounds like a great idea! The only problem would be being able to find the book, there aren't many book stores or libraries where I live. The best book I've ever read was Thirteen Days to Midnight (kids 13+). It's a great book, the characters are believable, and it has a great plot with an interesting twist. It does have mild profanity though...
I've also fallen in love with the Avalon series by Rachel Roberts (kids 8+), The Goose Girl by Shannon Hale (good for all ages), and the Uglies series by Scott Westerfeld (kids 12+).
How do read them online, I've been searching all over for a website... and I forgot to mention the Companion Courtet and Ella Enchanted, I can't remember the authors though.
The Sight David Clement-Davies. Probably twelve and up because it's like 800 pages long or more. A Game of Thrones (forgot the author)18+ Innapropriate content...

Hmm...The Name of This Book is Secret (Book one in the Secret series), If you're Reading This, It's Too Late (Book Two), This Book Is Not Good For You (Book Three), This Isn't What It Looks Like (Book Four), and, when it comes out, You Have To Stop This, Book Five. All these books are by Pseudonymous Bosch. 10+
