This site would benefit greatly if it had a 'how many users are online' list feature. Like other chat sites, Paint should have on the homepage a counter of how many users are online on the site. You should then be able to click the counter and it display a list of all the online users. This will make it easier for everyone to see new people.
Right now the only way to meet new people is by profile hopping by viewing people's timelines. I also feel this drive newcomers away because they don't know who to talk to because they don't know whose online and assume this site is empty.
This sounds like a compelling idea, but the question of people who would rather have their activities hidden arises. How should we handle them? Should they be included in the count but excluded from the list?
