Help Desk Request - Cant reinvite member

Recently I kicked a friend for spamming too much. I know he isn't hacked and just told him to stop and in a bit I would reinvite. I tried doing so and now they wont see the request and I dont see it either meaning it definitely failed. Is there a way to fix this or would i have to remake the whole group?

It's a known bug, documented in ?id=12094. Sorry about that.
