A relatively basic menu showing links to open up changelog information, community info, admin announcements as regular blogs and/or a simple blog-like page with a upvote, downvote and comment section
This should not be the top priority, but will be nice to be transparent to the community with ease, as well tell the community what may be coming in the future, what happened with updates and more

The forums should be utilized for the news section instead if blogs.

I like the idea of having the news be in a section on the home page, similar to socialcube or socialneko.
