Forget about Mega Evolution (or variations like Primal or Ultra forms) and Z-Moves. They don't exist in Gen 8.


Now this should explain everything about Dynamax.

Fin's just one of those competitive people who are crying about Lando-T (Landorus-Therian form) coming back. Landorus couldn't Mega Evolve but imagine if it was gigantic for 3 turns and had stat boost to everything, including HP. Also, there's no HP-Ice (Hidden Power Ice), a somewhat counter to Landorus. Lando-T is often seen as a fear or nuisance due to its versatility. Lack of weaknesses (only water and ice), a 145 base Attack, (hits like a train), Intimidate to weaken opponents, increasing its physical bulk, and a fairly good move pool (which might be different in Gen 8 ).

yeah you're missing the fact that Z moves is exclusive to Sun/moon, they're not lasting forever anymore. it's just new gimmicks every generation seemingly. There is no mega evolution or Z moves. There's only dynamax moves.

It's kind of 50/50 with the new gen honestly people either hate it or love it. I like it a lot though.

Tbh garchomp is still better than them. Salamance is really close. But most people use dragon dance on him because he's way more fragile than garchomp, and it's just not the same as swords dance Garchomp. He's kind of like a poor mans rayquayza. Garchomp is a MIX monster who can still take heavy hits from moon blasts. And even other dragons. So 100% I agree lol.
