Idk, i feel really weirded out when someone says stuff like "nothing better than my loving god" (NO OFFENSE AT ALL!!!) It feels almost cult-y. I prefer to focus on what's real, what i can see and prove, and not give all i have to one being that may or may not exist.


My poetry's pretty bad tho, i'm warning you, some of it's like- over a year old.

(I also enjoy writing poetry, mostly metaphors about death and low quality emo stuff, i like to use it as a vent, i can let it out and simply call it artistic)

Yeah, I feel as though i've heard a lot of bad about it. I have a sort of natural negative outlook towards christianity (have i been spelling it wrong???) because of the direct impact it made on me through residential schools. As a metis person, my life has been messed up, and i wouldn't have FASD if it never happened. To find a religious book that not only disapproves of it, but lines up with my viewpoints as well, it's bound to make me side with it, even as an atheist, it seems like a good religion, although it uses "evil" symbolism (those are very heavy quotes as the only reason they are seen as evil is because they are defiant towards the others)

Are you familiar with TØP (twenty one pilots)? They are pretty similar to AJR and i actually started listening to them BECAUSE of AJR (their songs "Leave the City" and "Trees" have some interesting christian metaphors, as well as some other songs (cant remember) which i think you may like!)

Yes, as in christian ideaology, satan is seen as the evil. In fact, a lot of religions have the "evil" to avoid. They tell you to comply to what they say. They tell you that you must come into church to pray for forgiveness, they tell you to supress what's inside you, to become your own lie to get into "paradise". Satanism tells you to respect yourself. To be responsible, to live a good life, but also remember that not everyone deserves to be loved, you shouldn't have to give yourself away to anyone who asks you to. Satanism is living a fulfilling life.

Satan is lucifer, and mythologically, lucifer is called the prince of lies, yet he only speaks truth. no lie has been uttered from his mouth. the only deceitful thing about him is his title. Big religons tell you to fear him because he speaks of happiness outside of god or whatever name they call him.


"three thirty" is absolutely amazing. I feel so bad, i can never skip the song, he literally asks me not to!

I actually own a satanic bible, and that statement is not 100% true. They DO worship satan, mostly as a placeholder. He's really just a symbol for them to have some higher being. It's actually worship of the self as the creator of your own happiness and wellbeing. It's about living a happy life, doing as you please (without hurting anyone who doesn't deserve or want to be hurt) It's allowing you to enjoy your body, without fear of the wrath of a god or repungance of others. I was suprised how honestly decent the contents of this bible is.

ALSO NOICE FELLOW AJR FAN! I love every album except living room. I just don't like their older style, and little jack's voice wasnt as nice. (really miss adam's singing tho)
