Not exactly. There are many circumstances in which it is--killing during wars, executions by the government, and the killing of people belonging races that are considered to be “monsters”--but murder is still illegal in my world. That is, in most parts of my world, anyway.

Unfortunately, yes.

@Draconid_Jo told me how people in your world can communicate with one another over great distances using technology, something that can be done in a somewhat more limited capacity in my world through telepathy. Telepathic communications require some sort of link between those conversing, however, so I could never meet a random person from the other side of my world the way that the people of your world can over the “internet”.

All that being said, the simplest way of eliminating an enemy from a great distance is simply to hire an Assassin to eliminate them. This is illegal in most parts of my world--and in yours, I am told--but there are plenty of individuals who choose to do such things for a living. Since you do not know where this person lives, however, it would be best to seek out such an individual who also possesses tracking skills, so that they can locate their target.

You need to be able to see them at least. Essentially, Deadbolt shoots a bolt of Dark magical energy at the target, and if it hits them, it kills them instantly. It is only capable of inflicting so much damage--so you couldn't slay a powerful opponent with it without weakening them significantly first--but it is quite effective for eliminating weaker targets. You have to actually be able to aim it at them, though, similar to shooting someone with a bow or crossbow, or one of those “guns” that @Draconid_Jo told me about.

He sounds like a weakling. A single Deadbolt should be able to eliminate him quite effectively, I would think.

I am uncertain of how magic works in your world, but if I wanted to do something like that, I would probably just cast a Deadbolt or similar instant death spell on them. If my ex were more powerful, however, I may need to lower their HP first through DoT curses such as Necrosis or Vampiric Necrosis.

What level is your ex relative to you? And what Element(s) do they possess?
