You're right, in some ways it is a matter of opinion. Some people believe that war and cruelity is good,and peace and kindness is evil. Other people(like me) believe that peace and kindness is good,and war and cruelity is evil.

You raise a valid point too about it being about perspective.But, if what's true for you is true for you,and what's true for me is true for me,then what if my truth says yours is a lie? is it still true? (to be continued)

I believe that every living,breathing thing has a soul. I also believe that my soul will go to heaven because..... well,honestly i'm not quite sure why i believe it,but i do know this: I'd rather believe, and live my life for God, then die and find out i was wrong and we do go into permanit unconciousness. Than to live my life in a wrong way,for wrong things,then die and find out there is a Heaven,and i could've gone there.

I've enjoyed having this conversation too. It's really nice to see why someone else would believe in something i wouldn't,and not have both of us bashing what the other believes.

I see what you mean. No,i don't agree with humans being permanitly unconcious,but i still see what you mean. I do agree that there's no way to know 100% that what you believe or what i believe is true. i believe that there's a God that you can't see,hear,smell, or touch, and you don't believe that. it's all a matter of opinion.

if you're up for it,i suggest you read "I Would Die For You", "No Safe Haven", "Race Against Time", and "Heaven Is Real".

like you, i have a respect for other's beliefs. now, if someone asks me where i believe i'm going, and where i believe they're going when they're not saved yet,that's when i will say," i'm going to Heaven, because i've been saved by my heavenly father. and i'm sorry to say this,but if you're not saved,then you'll be going to hell when you die." but like you said,i don't emediatly(spell fail) shout "YOU'RE GOING TO HELL!!!"

I don't know much about the Old Testament being Jewish beliefs,but i do know that the New Testament is for sure Christian beliefs.

I respect the fact that as an Athiest, you don't bash Christianity.

The verse said(and i quote), "If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman,both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be upon them." (NKJV) that's implying 2 men and 1 woman,not 1 man and 1 woman. 1 man and one woman is not a sin. 2 men and 1 woman(or the other way around) is a sin.
