ok that boss is easy once you know one thing: the tenticles. kill his tenticles, he gets stuned. be careful, it causes him to "gas up" faster. i forgot what gear i had when i fought him, but once i found that out, he was easy. pretty much kill tenticles, attack the boss a couple times, repeat. if you get your limit, use it when he is stunned.
