You seem to have missed the point of what I was saying. It makes no sense to tell him to leave here because what you'r trying to protect him from will be everywhere else. There's no use in trying to run from it because the only way to not meet people you're trying to protect him from is to never talk to anyone.
It's better to stay and stand up to what you think is wrong. If he leaves then it's the same as doing nothing to stop what you think is wrong.
