It's me Rachel and I want to tell you the story on how I got my DSi.
On June 11, 2011 is when I finally got my DSi. I always wanted one and that day was the day my birthday wish came true.
It was the middle of third grade and I notice kids got the new DSi. At first, I didn't care. I told myself "At least I have a DS Lite and that all that matters." But later on during the year, commercials started popping up on televisions! Kids brought it more to school and I got more tempted! Finally, it broke me down. I couldn't take the temptation anymore. One of my friends brought it to school and was playing it at lunch. During lunch period, she was taking pictures of her friends and herself. She was playing sounds and recording them. I was trying so hard to see what she was doing because I thpught it was so cool. So, later on that day, I begged my parents to buy me one. My dad continued to say soon. I continued to begged every now and then. Finally, it was Christmas, I told my parents about it and my dad didn't say he wasn't going to get it though. He told me that I wouldn't want it and that I would bored of it. Believing him, I agreed. Now that I think of it I think it was very silly of me to do this. Continuing the story, after that Christmas I still wanted the DSi but, I decided to stop thinking about it for a month or two. After, a couple of months, I started to beg my parents for the DSi but, as usual they continued to say no or soon.
It began fourth grade, I was still wanting it but, as usual either my parents continued to say no or soon. As well, as them saying it, I just decided to back off it a while. So, then I decided to be perfectly fine of not having a DSi. But then, later on in December 23, 2010. My dad, ruined my... LAPTOP! My laptop, was my only entertainment. With my laptop, I was perfectly fine of not having a DSi but, with it not around, I will be bored! First of all let's get to the fact here.
