The Destructive Sea is an extremely large lake that could be easily be mistaken as the ocean. It's not water at all, it's really made of a fluid element that behaves like the briny sea.
The destructive sea is used as a method of transportation as well as a security measure. It contains an "energy algorithm" of sorts. If an object enters without the correct aura energy, it cannot pass said algorithm. Here, energy is drawn from the areas the sea connects in order to pull the atoms apart. It happens instantly, resulting in the item annihilated. Afterwards, all energy is absorbed from the free radicals into borderline absolute zero. This energy is both sent back to the areas it was drawn from or converted into light. This process is held together by old relic magic, strong and durable, built to become almost perfect. And in order to prevent more intruders from entering, the quantum energy, the soul if you will, of the mind is converted into light and heat. However, certain users can reanimate objects and "souls" lost in the powerful tides if the mind has not been completely converted.
What it looks like:
First off, entrances are called Flood Gates. There can be more than one Flood Gate of any size per area. Witch ever Flood Gate you enter will be the one you exit from. There is only one on Earth about the size of the Great Lakes. As you enter the Flood Gate, you see a bright tunnel. At the end is basically a wall. Once you approach that wall, it will fold back on itself to reveal an exit. The sea has blue bright water, darkening as you reach far areas. There is nothing but whiteness as you go up and darkness as you go down. Each Flood Gate is represented by a large formidable orb. Etched, blocky, yet spherical. Among the sea is a series of upside down triangular structures and various bridging that hang from the high up areas. Connected to these are what seems to be tubing with a white fluid inside. These tubes, bundled in groups of 5, connect to large disks that sometimes surround currents. Currents are used to transport various things and as quick transportation. As a result of the various "atomic trash" that flows thought the sea, actual life forms take shape with "permission" of the sea.
