Standard HD, mainly because it's a lot cheaper and you can get the same memory if not more.

SSD, no moving parts and you don't have to worry about data loss.

I use both, it all depends what I can get and how good the specs are.

I leave whatever hard drive that came with it in there and just buy a External HD.
