People from time to time are tryin to identify what it means to be in love. I guess this is my shot at it.
It all starts out when yuh lovin' yuh-self: smilin at yo self, lookin in yo eyes and say out loud 'I am me, and I am proud to be me'.
You make a mess here, and hit a bump there, but that's alright: as long as you keep yo pain locked away tight.
And then you walk out the door, closing it behind, feelin' divine: going out with nothing particular in mind.
You just trying to live a life and fun. Smiles and tears. Laughter and Peace. Saying yuh lil montra: Live my life with all yo might, and never go down without a fight!
And then its flash, both of your eyes clash. You see them, and they see you. You smile and wave, they smile and wave.
You walk up to them, or they walk up to you, either way: you both come up and say: hello, how do you do?
That my friends, is just the beginning. Really, it's up to you and your idea of love to see how it's finished...
Well...the site didn't save my first comment somehow...sorry,..this re-do might be a bit shorter.
This was really good. It was the perfect mix of clear detail and open-endedness which makes it entirely relatable to anyone who has experienced this.
Honestly, it's almost poetry. Free verse, obviously, but it's written artfully, thoughtfully, and cleverly. I found it to have a certain rhythm hidden in the words as well. All this is to say "Well done". I hope to see more if you have the inspiration.
Might get criticized for featuring this due to it being too short, but I’ll take that risk.

I think it's fine. Honestly, it could be considered free verse and is written well. It's not like a short review or something. Poetry blogs or blogs like this that have poetic qualities are usually short and I've seen shorter featured.
