Continuing from my previous blog (PS Move vs. Wii Motion + Part I) and where my previous review left off, the Navigator controller is utterly useless for gaming opposed by the unique gaming capabilities that the Nunchuck utilizes. (Score: PS Navigator = 5.5/10 ; Wii Nunchuck = 9.75/10)
3.) PlayStation Eye vs. Wii Motion Sensing Bar: Now, these two devices are crucial to motion sensing gameplay, but they are slightly different (e.g: The Wii Motion Sensing Bar uses radiowaves, while the PS Eye relies on detecting and capturing motion and taking photos while recording voices). However, they are very different in terms of importance. The Wii Motion Sensing Bar is crucial for Wii motion sensing at all times, while the PS Eye is an optional accessory (the PS3 and Sixaxis/DualShock 3 controllers come with built in gyroscopic motion sensors). However, the PS Eye is needed for PS Move gameplay. Where as the Wii MSB reads off the motion of your Wii controllers, the PS Eye captures the movements of the PS Move controller(s) based on the controller's infrared coalescent orb. This can cause problems with gameplay, as the PS Eye can pick up other objects in the background in your environment in terms of closeness and brightness. So, if it's too dark while you're playing, you may have a chance of playing properly. If it's too bright in where you're playing, radiowave interference can occur, causing otherwise frustrated gameplay than what was originally intended. All-in-all, in terms of importance, the Wii MSB dominates the PS Eye in terms of accuracy and clearer gameplay. (Score: PlayStation Eye = 7.25/10 ; Wii Motion Sensing Bar = 9/10)
