Now, for Zelda fans, I have done some research on the progress of this game. Apparently, in relation to the continuity of the series as a whole, "The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword" actually takes place before the events of "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time," which is to say that this game takes place before the split-timeline event occurs.
Additionally, this may also take place before the events of "The Minish Cap," "Four Swords," and "Four Swords Adventures" in that order.
If this is so, then it may indicate that "Skyward Sword" may be determined to be the first chronological Zelda game in the canononical timeline of the entire series.
Theorized evidence is shown in the plot: The presumably first incarnation of Link falls from the floating island of Skyloft and lands onto the unexplored and hostile world below, which can be assumed to be Pre-Hyrule. Also, the Skyward Sword itself is destined to become the Master Sword later on.
Hopefully, this game may explain the origins of Link, Princess Zelda, the Master Sword, and the land of Hyrule. If the Oocca from "Twilight Princess" hint to anything about "Skyward Sword," then there may be a connection. Updates will be informed in the future.
