As all of you know right now, there is supposed to be a new Spiderman movie coming out next year. However, this movie will NOT be a continuation of the Sam Raimi Spiderman trilogy. Instead, this will be a completely rebuilt "from-the-ground-up" story similar to 2008's "The Incredible Hulk." The new story will focus more soley on Spiderman's origins by starring a younger version of Peter Parker, the one who eventually becomes the titular hero after being bitten by a radioactive spider. It is currently unknown as to whether this Peter Parker attends high school or college, but based on how young the actor is, it will most likely be set for high school (possibly). A whole cast of Spiderman villains will appear, and there may be a connection to the upcoming "Avengers" movie in 2 years. Plus, let's not forget that
this movie is being made by Marvel Studios, which in turn is owned by Disney now (saver you slight anger for your comments, please). So far, the film will be due for a Spring - Early Summer release for early 2011, only to be followed by a barrage of other possible summer blockbusters like "Captain America: The First Avenger" and "Thor," so if you feel that the Spiderman reboot is by all means absolutely necessary, share your thoughts and stay tuned for some future announcements. Thank you.
