The Nintendo 3DS Preview Event was broadcasted or "webcasted" via the URL http://live.nintendo3ds.nintendo-europe.com/ today: from 3pm CET on 19th January 2011.
You can still watch the presentation, recorded, of course.

As you can see, i don't miss any hot news, no no....i will be pleased to share with you the Nintendo 3DS release dates and prices, right NOW.

With exclusive screenshots and ultra fast news (i hope this blog gets featured as soon as it is posted...) you will find anywhere in the web BUT DSiPaint!



We will be able to track our activities with the 3DS with a interactive and graphical log, and as confirmed before we can make Miis from pictures.

So far, several games haven been announced, between them Driver: Renegade, and Lego star wars!

The Nintendo 3DS will be priced at $249.99 and will be available on March 27 north america, and europe 25 March £229.99, the confirmed new information is that it will have unique friend codes, so..YES, No need to keep sharing friend-codes all the time!

The nintendo 3DS will also come with 6 AR cards, now confirmed.

30 Games will be available in USA and 25 games available in europe

While in sleep mode the nintendo 3DS works as a pedometer and you earn "coins" for walking with your 3DS. You will be able to utilize the coins to buy apps and content for your 3DS, maybe from 3DSWare? but anything about the usage of coins was confirmed yet.

"There's also an accelerometer and a gyroscope, which track players' movements and how they tilt the screen, so that they can see the 3D games from different angles."

This means the 3D effect won't fade way (not too much? or won't fade away for real? we'll see) if you move the device, but the Parallax barrier which "generates" the glasses-free 3D effect won't permit more than 1 person to see the 3D effect properly, but different of before, now we now if we move the device we won't have problems with it.

We will be able to edit pictures, the built-in software will feature a mii maker, access to nintendo's eShop, parental controls, the browser will apparently be available to download for free.

Some people are saying nintendo has grow up because of the 3DS, because the nintendo DS was a device for "children", they may be wrong? they may be right....but Who cares? just don't tell Shibata-San, president of Nintendo Europe, because of this "little" detail here.

o.o my birthdays on april second and it really close to the realease date and i already have 120 so if i sell my 2 dsi`s and do some work i can buy it myself and get a bunch of games and point cards for it from my parents im so lucky because ill get it the first day.

UNDERLIG - If it is 270 euros i will expend 120 Euros with games (i will by 3 launch games), and the rest (about 20 euros) with acessories, if it is 229 euros i will buy 3 launch games and expend the rest with acessories =D

Not bad. I bet when Hull pre-ordered the 3DS, he'll get the browser, and fit the 3DS required certifications. I can tell 3DS WILL need some 3DS games for 3DSPaint.

HB - i needed the European launch date, i will be getting my 3DS at France just like i did with my DSi, my dad travels for work so he can bring me games, accesories and stuff we don't have here and talking about games...compared to here the french have a very reasonable price, anyways...it would be impossible for me to get games and the device itself here, we have SUPER high taxes for video games, it will come late and expensive, like the DSi, DS Lite, Wii and etc did. Pretty sure of it.

I am glad the games are not WiFi region locked like the DSi ones so i will be able to play with everyone else here, not only with European game owners , after all we just need to add each others 3DS codes.

I can say i am somebody lucky, none of my friends will be able to get a 3DS as fast as me or even get a 3DS until next year possibly.

Ugh..spotpass will be pretty useless here.

ultra - thanks, i am doing it as fast as i can, you know i have to check each image link to see if i didn't upload the wrong one or mixed the resized ones with the normal ones..etc...

of course i had some info errors, i am doing everything at the same time O-O

You will be able to press the Home button while in a game, browse the Internet, then return to the game where you left it.
