Walking Corpse Syndrome: People who have Walking Corpse Syndrome (WCS), which is also referred to as Cotard Syndrome actually believe that they are among the dead, that they are decaying, or that they have lost body parts or internal organs. WPS is usually found is people who have suffered brain damage or is a sign of mental illness

7. Pica Syndrome: Pica is a psychological disorder that causes a person who suffers from it to crave & to eat non-edible objects. No concrete cause has been established, but it is believed to the result of a mineral deficiency. It is found most commonly in pregnant women & children in lower-income areas.

6. Werewolf Syndrome: Werewolf Syndrome, also referred to as Hypertrichosis is a condition that causes the excessive growth of body hair. Typically, the hair is found on the upper body, such as the face. The disease is extremely rare, with only 50 cases documented worldwide. People who suffer from this disease usually get it as a faulty gene passed down from their parents, that is, it is usually inherited. In 2008, Columbia University found that an injection of testosterone greatly aided in long-term hair loss in patients with hypertrichosis. It is regarded by many people as a cure.

Water Allergy: Water Allergy, also referred to as Aquagenic Pruritis is a skin disease characterized by the development of severe, intense, prickling-like itching on the skin when it has contact with water. Symptoms may be felt as soon as it touches the water or humid air & may continue for up to an hour, sometimes even longer. There are other triggers to the skin irritations including: sweat, blowing air, temperature differences, changing clothes, contact with synthetic fibers, & even lying down to sleep. The disease & it's symptoms may be ongoing for many years.

4. Foreign Accent Syndrome: Foreign Accent Syndrome (FAS) is a speech disorder that causes a sudden change in speech pattern, & the way the words & spoken & pronounced so that the person suffering from FAS is actually 'speaking' in a foreign accent.' FAS is usually the result of severe trauma to the brain, such as caused by a stroke or a head injury. The symptoms usually appear within the first year or two after the injury. Since 1941 only 50-60 cases worlwide have been diagnosed & recognized & of them cases, only a few have actually recovered their normal speech pattern. Some suffers have had some success with speech therapy.

3. Congenital Insensitivity to Pain: This is a chronic (life long) that causes the sufferer to have no ability to feel physical pain. All other sensations are otherwise normal. The cause is typically due to a mutation of a gene associated with the transmission of pain in the body. Sufferers are more susceptible to death by trauma, since they might not be aware of the extent of the damage done to their own bodies. It's a rare disease, with only 100 cases documented in America.

2. Alien Hand Syndrome: Alien Hand Syndrome (AIS), which is also referred to as Dr. Strangelove Syndrome & Anarchic Hand. AIS is a neurological disorder (Disorder affecting nervous system) that makes the sufferer feel as if he has lost control of one of his hands. In extreme cases, sufferers have been known to wrestle violently with their own hands, & in other severe cases the victim has been known to be choked in their sleep by the affected hand. AIS is caused by trauma to the brain such as caused by a stroke, aneurysm, or head injury. Although the condition itself has no cure, the symptoms can be treated.

1. Exploding Head Syndrome: People who suffer from Exploding Head Syndrome hear loud, explosion-like noises that seem to come from their own head. The 'explosions' usually occur within an hour or 2 of the victim falling asleep. Their is no physical pain felt, but the patients do feel fear & anxiety after such an attack. It's not known what causes the syndrome, but it has been linked to stress & fatigue in some cases. The symptoms often disappear without any known cause or treatment ever being established.
