I'm tired of seeing people being banned for, then complaining about being banned unfairly, claiming that they did nothing wrong, when they used the Meme that I am writing this blog about.

Using memes, it's fun right? Sure, there are the ones we KNOW mean nothing dirty or have no dirty origins, like "It's over 9,000!" which spawned from the scene in Dragon Ball Z where Vegeta is shocked by Goku's power level.

But then there are those Memes which came into existence through profanity from another language. Just because a meme is spawned from a cartoon or comic doesn't necessarily mean that it's the cleanest Meme around. Especially when they are consistantly used in Youtube poop videos, if you find this Meme is used in a Youtube poop, chances are that it's dirty.

The most commonly used Meme that I've seen users banned for was spawned from The Adventures of Sonic The Hedgehog, derived from the scene where Eggman says "Snoo-PING AS usual, I see." yes, Pingas.

Pingas, why would admins ban for this? Is this the question we should be asking ourselves? Hardly.





The question we need to ask is, HOW can we stop users from being banned for using a Meme they hardly know is banworthy? By explaining why it's banworthy.

Complaining about being banned for shouting "PINGAS!" in a chat is EXACTLY as if you're complaining about being banned for shouting "PENIS!" wondering why? Synonyms. Pingas may have been derived from a cartoon, but it was as a euphemism for Penis.

Here are samples of articles from Wikipedia:

Pinga or less commonly pingo is considered offensive in most regions, although in Argentina, for example, its male form (pingo) may describe a horse. However, in Mexico it is also used as a term of endearment for an anti-hero, such as Puck, Huckleberry Finn or Dennis the Menace. The equivalent word in other regions for such people is travieso/traviesa (which in turn means "transvestite" in Argentina).

In Mexico, Central America and other parts of South America, verga is more commonly used, also, to say ¡La verga! could mean "[Fbomb]!" or "No way!" (the second in a sense of "I can't believe it").
Pinga de la madre, pinga 'e la madre and pinga-la-madre are commonly-used interjections.
In Panama and Costa Rica, picha is used in the Chiriqui region, whereas pinga is used elsewhere in the country.

This is the reason why people are being banned for the use of this Meme, and why these bans are valid, and why complaining about being banned for the use of this Meme is ignored: It is the same as swearing in Spanish, which IS indeed banworthy.

So before you go using this Meme, accusing an admin of power abuse for banning someone for using this Meme, or even defending a user because they were warned for using it, remember what you've read here.
