OK, guys. For those of you who haven't seen "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2," prepare for some MAJOR character-death spoilers regarding who dies and how they die (there will be some differences from the book). For those who have seen the movie or read the book......LOOK ANYWAY:
1. Griphook the Goblin Banker; death by the Avada Kadavra curse (this goes for all the bankers and security guards).
2. Professor Lupin; death by explosion during the Battle of Hogwarts.
3. Nymphadora Tonks; death by explosion (same as Lupin).
4. Fred Weasley; death by Death Eater swarm (implied to have been killed by Bellatrix LeStrange)
5. Goyle (replacement for Crabbe); death by immolation caused by an out-of-control fire curse.
6. Several Snatchers; death by disintegration from force field as well as bridge-collapse sequence.
7. Professor Snape (everyone knew this was coming); death by blood loss caused by the Sectumsempra spell and snake bites.
8. Lavender; death by Werewolf bites from Deatheater Fenrir Greyback.
9. Colin Creevy; death by Deatheater attack (offscreen).
10. Several Deatheaters; death by Hogwarts defenses.
11. Several Students; death by Deatheater assault forces.
12. Giants; death by stone soldiers.
13. Bellatrix LeStrange; death by petrification shatter (never make a tough mother tougher).
14. Nagini; death by Gryffindor sword slash from Neville Longbottom.
15. Lord Voldemort (obviously); death by willful arrogance (seriously, all of his Horcruxes are destroyed, Harry beats the crap out of him, and the Elder Wand does not answer to him, but to Harry. Neville's execution of Nagini, Voldemort's last Horcrux, left Voldemort completely exposed to the wand's rejection, making Harry the victor).
All in all, a helluva lot of characters die during the course of the film, just as they did in the book, but almost by the book, with notable differences (Example: in the book, Voldemort simply falls back and dies, forced to exist as a bloody stunted fetus; In the movie, Voldemort disintegrates rather grotesquely, thus becoming confetti). Either way, this is it.
