I feel it is my duty to warn my fellow SDK-ites about the dangers of something we encounter all around us on a near-daily basis. Everywhere we go, we see this danger. There is no way to avoid it, since people are marketing and dealing it everywhere in a perfectly legal manner. Yet, many of us don't give the dangers of it a second thought.
My first-hand encounter started last summer. I was hopping garage sales to find precious metals at dirt cheap prices. The residents at one house were trying to push this dangerous product onto unsuspecting victims. The most horrifying part about this was that both the father and his young son were selling it, since they had moved on to the higher grade product. They were selling this with no thoughts to the consequences.
Knowing that my brother and sister-in-law were already users, I thought I would buy some. If they didn't want it, maybe my kids could try it. Well, the kids do like it, and they want more. It's shameful, I know.
I discovered that there is an iOS app to track use and purchases of this dangerous product. Apparently, we only sampled a small portion of the nearly-200 varieties of this product that has a street price of $10-$15 per bag - which will quickly empty your wallet.
If you encounter this, be aware of some of the names by which it can be known: Boomer, Cynder, Whirlwind, Scratch, Fryno, Ignitor, and Zap.
