The distinguished PasserByGuy spake:This may be a kid's site but making a mockery of the court system?
That's just freaking wrong.
This thread doesn't deserve a lock, it deserves permanent deletion.
The judiciary system is serious--it is not a game.
Seriously?
I mean, how old are you?
Ten years old?
Grow up.
If so... leave him alone... its just a suggestion, not something you "complain" about... in your case, "cry" about... what if he is 10 years... just... if you have nothing nice to type, then dont type at all...
My post was deleted... o.O
I like the idea of having a ban review kind of thing. Simply seeing if the Admin banned fairly.
I like the idea! But if you guys want TMJ, this will have to wait :p
This is what I think should happen:
Now if a user is being banned for 24 hours they're banned! Nothing much to say about that, it's just a day. But if let us just say that if a user was going to be permad, maybe that could be a court matter. I'm going to link this thread to Hull's profile for him to see.
And really, this should only occur in cases where there is a dispute between the Admin who banned and others present. And by others, I don't mean one other member, I mean at least a few, otherwise, when someone wants to make trouble, they can't just have one of their friends come to the chat room to vouch for them. :lthats actually a pretty good idea...because the courtrooms should be reserved for larger matters
Maybe the jury is just the first five people to accept an invite. An admin could also testify for a longer ban.
What about precedent though? Can the previous decision be used if the case is similar? Is it bound by courts higher up in the US or Europe?
