I don't really want to get married.. it seems like such a big commitment to me.. (Lol, /commitmentphobe) But, I still think gays should be allowed to if they want to o.e (still don't know why you would want to.. but k)
And I looked it up, and apparently gay marriage is allowed in the following countries:
Canada
Sweden
Norway
Netherlands (Holland)
Belgium
Spain
Portugal
Iceland
South Africa
Mexico city
Argentina
The states: New Hampshire,New York Massachusetts, Connecticut, Iowa, and Vermont, and Washington, DC. (and california if you got married between june and november 2008)
There are a few more too, but they only allow civil partnerships, or things with the same rights/some of the rights of being married so I didn't put them..
I personally think the whole thing is stupid, they have civil partnerships, It's not like they couldn't be paired with their partner, what does the name of the marriage matter?
God made Adam and Eve, not Adam and Adam, or Eve and Eve.
I think gay marrages should be allowed, but not encoureged though. They say it's a free country, but they put limitations on who you can marry?
Adam ad Adam?
LOL
Cool story dudes; Their are around a thousand or more gods. And only the gods of the Abrahamic faith agree with this Adam and Eve stuff. Your chances of being right are VERY VERY VERY NARROW.
My ideal life; Living to the fullest, having fun, and geeking on a linux box.
These Parades are Gay Pride Parades, we had one recently this Sunday, the Chicago Gay Pride Parade. Someone had slashed 40 floats of their tires the night before, as well. Douches... -.-
Whoa bro, better slow down bro, don't wanna be a bro, bro.
Using religion as a basis is highly flawed also in that the church themselves seem to be prone to peer pressure. Example being their original stance against vaccinations.
I completely agree with Emo's second post, yes it is against my religion, so I have some strong thoughts against it, but secondly I have nothing against people who are gay, it confuses me slightly, but I have nothing against them.
What's so confusing about it? It's merely that they're attracted to a member of their sex, it's really no different than me being attracted to a girl, for example.
The "He lets us go our own way" excuse is utter bullcrap.
Whoa bro, better slow down bro, don't wanna be a bro, bro.
