Not Impossible, simply Really hard.
In my experience, the hardest boss ever is the Mole Troll in the Spiderwick game. Never got past it. I sold the game to get Mario Kart, a good game.

Hmm...

While Ballos is a challenge in Cave Story, he's not too bad. But when you're trying to get through the Sacred Grounds AND defeat Ballos' 4 Forms, all in under 4 minutes,[3 for the King's Theme, 4 for Toroko's,] there's a considerable amount of difficulty added. It's all mental, but still.

i found that boss easy, the shapeshifter was the hardest boss in that game. but i dont find much bosses or levels for single player games very hard, if so its not hard enogh to make it to be the hardest. but the caos lords from the mmo aqw

The hardest possible level in all shooters is in MW2,playing the campaign where you use the laser to control the Stryker.On Veteran. >.<

Leechgrave in Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days, I died twice. I finally beat it by unequiping almost everything and filling all the slots with potions. Then I spammed limit breaks till it died.

Took me 147 retries, even though you get a checkpoint after every room.

All physical problems can be solved with high explosives

I beat ridley the first time even when he was meta ridley the hardest part was fighting the metroid queen. Hardest boss on there was the creature that could fly around and fire rockets
