They don't make games as hard as they used to. I enjoyed really frustratingly hard bosses. Gave you more satisfaction in winning.

Annoying as hell. Final Fantasy XIII superboss, took ages and dies so many times. Have to say Skyrims final boss is a rat compared to this...

Hmm...
While Ballos is a challenge in Cave Story, he's not too bad. But when you're trying to get through the Sacred Grounds AND defeat Ballos' 4 Forms, all in under 4 minutes,[3 for the King's Theme, 4 for Toroko's,] there's a considerable amount of difficulty added. It's all mental, but still.
I finally beat him on Normal, and got Toroko's Theme.
Total pain in the ass.
