Messing around with a pet by toying around with it and scaring it once never harmed it, many people scare there cats/dogs once and they still love there pet. Now I mean that of course aslong as you ain't abuseing it.
No of course I didn't, I quoted what I said in my first post.
Of course that is but I don't go outside to waste my time killing insects, I only kill insects like roaches that get in my house as I don't need them and they're unwanted. And of course it's classified as Animal abuse but they ain't going to enforce it for insects unless they're on the brink of extinction. I'm not saying that it's ok to kill insects just ecause you got nothing better to do though.
Don't argue with idiots because they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.
Well you ain't going to abuse a pet you love is my point.
And what was the reason there for her to raise her hand to pretend to slap it. I don't mean by pretending to hit a animal as that ain't right, and some animals yes are more sensitive then others but that ain't a form of animal abuse. Still doesn't make it right. But i'm only stating something like following a cat and then to slightly tap the cat and scare it when it doesn't expect it. I did that once to my cat and he ain't afraid or scared of me from it.
I know you didn't say I did I was just stating that I don't. I agree on that factor as the snail didn't do anything and you just kill it for no reason.
Don't argue with idiots because they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.
I scared my cat and I didn't abuse it and I still love it, it all really depends on mostly what you're doing.
Yes they'll remember it, and expect it if you try it again but I still only scared the cat a bit and it doesn't hate me for it nor scared of me.
I see your point and do agree but as I see it all depends on what you did and how much you do it. 'Cause even if you do it once and everything is fine, you do it more consistently the pet will get the impression that you're trying to harm it.
Don't argue with idiots because they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.
If I was in the pets position and I had the same thing happen to me as I did once to my cat, yes I would probally be annoyed and wouldn't like it. Which is the reason why I don't do it to my pets other then that one time.
Don't argue with idiots because they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.
Zekrom, how about this. Mosquitoes are part of the Animal Kingdom, no? So, I propose to you, the next time you see a Mosquito on/near you, don't harm it. Let ir drink your blood to store and produce eggs with, please. Spare its Mosquito life of a few weeks/months, for the love of some fake god. Then, when you get Malaria or something almost as bad, I can say "Well... AT least he didn't partake in Animal Cruelty, seeing as how he died doing what he loved;... Protecting insects from harm."
Now, in my opinion, I always try and avoid stepping on insects. If they're outside, it's their rightful place, I have no right to kill them just for walking around. But my point is, some of them do more damage than is acceptable.

Whoa bro, better slow down bro, don't wanna be a bro, bro.
I kill spiders in my house. That's about it. And I play around with my rabbit sometimes, playing tag with him. Unless he starts screaming or spazzing out, it's not abuse.
Kids these days take the word "abuse" way out of hand. Abuse is starving a pet, purposely hurting the pet in some way, etc. I don't think it's abuse if you toy around with the pet, as long you don't take it out of hand and you stop if the pet gets really irritated.
Communism: You have more water, everyone has more water!
Exactly, if I have to run out the door because I woke up late, and end up not feeding the Cat, someone else will be home, see he needs food, and do it. If I[and no one else] don't feed him purposely for many days, THAT'S cruel and abusive.
Whoa bro, better slow down bro, don't wanna be a bro, bro.
Abuse would be like this: I saw a show about a lake that had a powerful croc in it, threy prove it by putting their dog it the lake with it slowly sink into the water and dies by the croc. Stuff like that is horrible!
Lots of grammar mistakes....
*they proved the crocidile was powerful by sending their dog in the lake and watch it slowly sink into the water cause of the crocidle, some people on tv shows are idiots.
So we can kill mosquitoes because they're "pests"? I know lots of people, dogs, cats, etc who are "pests" That doesn't seem very nice.. they're only sucking your blood to survive and feed it's eggs, you're killing mosquito fetuses! Sorry, just came outta the abortion thread xD I don't kill bugs even if they're in my house though.. I once spent a good ten minutes trying to put a jumping spider outside..
And lolwut, yelling at something/one is abuse? You must have had a laid-back (I spent forever trying to think of another word, but couldn't xD) childhood..
Besides, sometimes you need to yell at people/animals when they're bad. It's called discipline. Dogs, for example, associate a raised voice with.. (gosh I suck at word choice today) them being disciplined for whatever they just did.
Getting yelled at sounds pretty lofty to me, it's basically the only thing you can do now-a-days since everybody spazzes if you do anything else to kids now.
Oh, and the SPCA doesn't and won't do anything. We called every animal-abuse related place in the area and nobody gave a crap that my neighbour ties his dog outside on his deck every day on a foot long leash, even in the middle of a boiling hot day in summer, and in snow storms in the winter, with no food, water or shelter. And when it's not there, they lock it in the basememt. That's animal abuse. Not playing or yelling at your dog. This reminds me of how every youtube video involving animals or young kids has people crying about animal/child abuse.
Zekrom, I did go back and read. Guess what: Ants are considered pests to, you moron. Anything annoying is. My Sister is a pest, and mosquitos are pests. I don't mind ants or spiders, I usually try and slide them out the door or into potted plants. And you contradicted yourself with the whole "mosquitos are pests" statement.
Whoa bro, better slow down bro, don't wanna be a bro, bro.
San Francisco wants to push a new ban regarding Goldfish, saying that the 'mass-breeding of the animals is immoral and cruel'. It's funny, in the '90s, I believe Hamsters were banned!
