The U.S is in 14 something trillion dollars of dept.

The U.S needs to practice REAL democracy, or use socialist reenforcement. Because Capitalism is making things fall.

Progressives are a plague on this nation, in my opinion. Obama is one. Both Bushes were. Clinton was one. They believe in all this Keynesian spending, over-regulation, and soft socialism.

Socialism does not work because it inhibits the competition that causes innovation to thrive. Stalin commissioned an economist to produce a study that proved socialism (of which communism is a part) was better than capitalism. The economist came back to report that capitalism is like the seasons of a year: a productive summer, declining autumn, difficult winter, and thriving spring. He said that socialism has initial productive qualities then starts the decline and never returns. Stalin was not very happy with this report, so he kept it hidden and had the economist executed.

I've read prophecies that state something like: There will be the war of wars (WWIII?) sometime between 2000AD - 2040AD brought on by inflation in the world's economy. And the US Dollar is the main currency in the world. I'm not saying I believe in any of this, but it's alway's a possibility. If the US dollar collapses, so will alot of other things in the world.

And have any of you seen the commercials for/ watched the video and read the info on EndOfAmerica63.com? That stuff is scary, and in a way, it seems to be unfolding.

I agree with Soft Sociallism,but, having a control on the econmy at this point is a need. None the less, the U.S should really form a true democracy. LET WE THE PEOPLE RUN THE GOVERNMENT!

A true democracy is not feasible and never will be. In a true democracy, EVERY person has equal say on EVERY issue. In this case, nothing significant would ever be accomplished. That's why the U.S. is a republic.

i might be hated for saying this, but WWIII is what we need, we just dont fight and sell supplies to other countries. thats how we got out of the great deppresion (or at least what i was taught)

I love how you people are finding an excuse to become a war-driven empire. Another World War will not help anything. We have a $60 Billion defense budget. Watch it skyrocket, more debt. Also, our workforce is going to take a dive once drafting begins. And if we're fighting China, 90% of all manufactured goods will be unavailiable and everything will be rationed. Doomsday, if you ask me.
