The increase in national debt so far is around four trillion dollars under either the Bush or Obama administration, to keep it simple. Keep in mind, however, that Bush held two terms in office, while Obama is still in his first. Don't get me wrong, the Bush administration spent a lot of money. However, the Obama administration has been spending roughly twice as much.
