legit question: can pokemon really continue?

i want to know if you think this series of games and (now) crappy tv series's will survive much longer, because frankly, i never got into it and it never once really drew me in; now even less with the crap tv series

There's no point in questioning whether the series of games will continue, because they obviously will. They're the second best selling game series ever, with over 210 million games sold, behind Mario's 270 million.

It's my job to help the next generation, and set a good example for them. And for that I'll gladly lay down my life.

The TV Series, I never really saw. I was a Yu-Gi-Oh fanboy at the time, waaaaay before this GX crap ruined it for me.

Yu-Gi-Oh 5G's is also notable for making us old Yu-Gi-Oh fans slit our wrists, because we thought GX was bad enough.

I gave 5G's one chance with another old Yu-Gi-Oh-loving friend of mine who preferred the original. We nearly fell over laughing at the choppy dub-voicing, and the "Syncro" card concept is terrible.

We don't need to ruin Pokémon with vehicles. And I mean primarily using vehicles through the whole game. I personally loved the concept of the Magnet Train in Crystal, and the Battle Subway in Black is cool too. If only you could arrive at different Towns/Locations with it...

GameFreak has actually developed several other games, like Drill Dozer for the GBA, and I believe a few PS1 games too. Pokemon is just what the mass-gaming community gives a damn about.
