U.S. Bomb being dismantled

Tanya. I understand that the bomb was the most powerful. However, If you combines the 5000 we still have, The power far exceeds that of the bomb that was dismantled.

Why do we need a damn bomb that can create a crater the size of Texas? To bully the world? Let's show the world that we're rich asses! Five thousand nukes isn't enugh for us! Hooray! Apocolypse! Kill everyone! We're America! We'll do what we damn well please!

A song isn't changing my mind. If you want to know what a nuke does, go read Hiroshima. It details the suffering of the CIVILIANS who barely survived and the graphic images such as PEOPLE'S SHADOWS GETTING BURNED INTO THE GROUND.

I'm not saying it was unnecessary either, but think of it this way, that was one of the first nuclear weapons ever. Now there are bombs thousands of times stronger than the ones used in Hiroshima. The power to kill hundreds of thousands of people in an instant is terrible and shouldn't even exist. The fact that we're disarming one of them doesn't mean that people will forget the other 5000.

If you honestly think Obama is "weakening us for the terrorists", I'm sorry, but you've reached the height of political stupidity.

I never said he was weakening us for the terrorists. I said that he did this as a political stance instead of something that helped anybody else. Lastly, and never believed Obama cared about what happened to this country. All he wants is to be president again and everyone to worship him.

I was talking to Flare255 actually.
And I highly doubt he wants us to "worship" him, and saying that he doesn't care about what happens to the country he helps to run is just silliness. Part of his downfall has been terrible economic problems both before and after he entered into Office, general lack of bipartisanship between the two major parties (mostly a pipe dream anyway), and failings on both his part and on the American peoples' part. People love to throw words and statements around, but they're often exaggerated.

Also, I believe that the weapon was a BOMB, and the plane designed to carry it has been RETIRED FOREVER.
