Locking old threads- Is it really needed?

Old threads are only locked if they've been bumped up, or to prevent them from being bumped up. Read the thread about not bumping up old threads, if it's still here.

As you may be aware of, some people seem to like going at the last page of the bulletins and bump up an old thread. I suggest the admins just delete the comment instead of locking it, so it will go back to its place.

That will be un needed, I have a feeling you might wanna look at Skunkman's blog about Admins not standing above the rules. So I suggest tou follow the BB rules aswell since you're moderator on it or just get yourself in trouble. @Commander

Maxi's idea sounds reasonable. Instead of locking it just delete the user's comment. Also the present system with locking is qute efficient.

Yes, sometimes threads can be in the wrong place, they need to be locked. No Pressure!
