iPad. Worth the money?

I was thinking of buying a new laptop computer. I can't decide if I want an iPad or an iBook. Which of the two make a better computer?
I know my apprehensions might never be allayed. And so I close, realizing that perhaps the ending has not yet been written...

Commander, I'd like to think of the iPad of a iTouch blown up to a bigger size. Yes, it holds more and I think even has a few more apps, but I'd get the iBook.
I love it when a plan comes together like buttcheeks.

Based on what I've heard and seen about the two, I say iBook (even though I am far from being an Apple fan). The iPad is okay for portability, but using it at home is just a pain. Better off with a tradtional notebook.

NO! Its an enlargewd iPod touch. It doesnt even have Javascript so certan site wont work. You cna just by an iPod touc which is the excapt same thing but smaller for less money and more gigabites! Its stupid

Depends what you want to use it for. Ipad is basically a larger version of ipod touch.
