Which metal band is more awesome? Slipknot, the 9 masked men of mayhem, or KoRn, the greatest pioneers of nu-metal history?
Which would you hate more, 10 dead babies in 1 trash can, or 1 dead baby in 10 trash cans?

Anyway, I say KoRn because, even though I love Slipknot, the original KoRn made the best songs ever before Head left the group.

↑Exactly. It took losing 3 out of five members for KoRn to start producing less awesome work, whereas Slipknot started to lose their talent with their band (mostly) intact.

Also, Paul Gray died last May, which was 2 years after Slipknot released "All Hope Is Gone" (their latest album), so that isn't an excuse.
