It's awesome how everyone's adding a bit of background character to their weapon. It's inspiring to see people work hard on their designs.

Beep boop

The orb of time

Apearence: Blue orb.

Effects: Not a weapon as such, allows user to bend time.

History: When time began, most of it heated up and moved forwards at high speeds. But some time condensed to form this orb. The condensed time can control the flowing time.

Name: Ice Blade
Wepon: Sword
Effects: Does crazy damage to enemy and can freeze enemys from time to time.
History: Hundreds of years ago, the greatest wizards of the land came to gether to make wepons for the heros of the land. Each elemental wizard made one. Ther was the flame bow, grass staff, wind boomerang (ik unoriginal XP) and last but not least the Ice Blade. It was crafted out of coldest, unmeltable ice from the IcyCaverns. These wepons were the best of the best. But one day, an evil king wanted the wepons, and tryed to kill the heros. The hero with the grass staff, was defeted. The king had gotten it and wreaked havoc across the land. The heros joined together and defeated the king. Then they decided the weapon were too powerful for a mortal to handle, so they put all there wepons back were they were created. And legend has it, the Ice Blade is still hidden in the Icy Cavern, deep inside.

Well then...

Funny you should mention that Divine. The thing is people can see their weapon in the game and even though they don't receive credit for it, they can say, "That was my idea! :D"

Name: Peacemaker. Weapon Type: Bow & Arrow. meh, you can adapt from that, i got the idea from the fighter plane, "Peacemaker"

History: was used at the dawn of ranged weapons and was used by the most elite soldiers. Look: arrows give off a strange aura and look almost broken, the bow is a strange shape and is very confusing

Effects-shreds ppl into a million pieces
History-a killer who liked to kill people withe spikes and brick, so he put them both together. Red for the brick and shreder for the spikes

Gentlemen, we have a problem

Since the setting of this game is Norse-Viking-esque, I don't think modern weapons like guns would fit in too well. Think more along the lines of swords/axes/staffs/etc.

Catch my drift.

Can do a katona sword? Wooden handle, the blade human size 4-5 feet, and a linked chain at the end of the sword.

@Dionn Katanas are Asian weapons, so my answer is no.

Hey I got one:

Name- Dimensional Greatsword
History- I blade crafted by Krudger (a.k.a. Steel Manta) for he needed a weapon but also means of transportation. He created this, the Dimensional Greatsword.
Effects- Has 4 special attacks obtained by 5-level intervals, one special attack unlocked per every 5 levels using this weapon. Special attacks are-
1.Crystal Shot
2.Crystal Twist
3.Crystal Stab4.Crystal Crush
5.(this one only I can use) Crystal Render

The Spikes (|/) are part of the blade, just in case you guys get creative and think it's the blade giving of a glow (it actually does, but it still has those spikes)so yeah. Hope it's part of final game. Maybe it can be obtainable by a quest or some sort of shop at Mt. Hildar.
