Conduct for featuring blogs.

I know i am not an admin But i am well experienced here, and i've seen some really un-needed blogs getting accepted, Admins, when you accept a blog it is sent to the featured list Page, The better the quality of these blogs, the better the quality of this list, please, before accepting a blog you could take in consideration this member will be getting points for it, in case of a news blog see if it isn't an old news, if it has images, Take in consideration if they are resized for the Nintendo DS screens..because its really annoying and hard to see ..please deny those (unless the images need to be over-sized for a better look)

Me and several members work so hard to resize my images, make a good use of tags, to get my blogs acepted, then some newbie member post a bad quality Blog and it gets acepted and the member gets the same amount of points for a Crappy blog of another member's hardworked blog

Take in consideration the organization of the blog, if it is using tags, multiple tags are available now, there is no reason to don't use them..

The reason i am posting this in the BBs is to see if people agree with me.

I think you don't understand where Glee is getting at, Waffle King. He gets his blogs featured due to good structure.

On another note, this is a good forum post, however, it could have been better with a warning to users that Blog admins accept and reject A LOT of blogs, so please DO NOT submit a blog for featuring UNLESS it has any hope of getting featured. Blog admins work hard, you can help by making their job easier.

Some blogs these days are not very good. Some are bios, some are previews to a new blog series, etc. Some people forget what the word blog really means, which is "Internet journal".

What i am trying to say, Is that it is so unfair, some people work so hard to get a blog feature, they get featured, the member gets 10 points.

Then another member makes a so-so blog, without a good structure, not really hardworked, and it gets accepted same way

I posted it because i found a HORRIBLE blog accepted, it had a Old Content about the 3DS (probably cop-pasted) and 2 Huge Nintendo3DS pictures, one was a Fake 3DS.

o.e The content was BAD, the structure was Even worst, and it was accepted...Ugh

Note to admins: if you suspect that a blog is plagiarized, try to verify. If it is stolen work, I generally just delete it with no warning to the "author". So many members work hard on their blogs then see an unknowing admin feature something stolen.

For example, in my blogs if i got any content from other websites i ALWAYS read the site's policy before getting any content from any article (and according to it, add the link to the original text)

It is even more good, because then people here find good news sites.

And i ALWAYS add some content of my own to the blog, if it has copy-pasted content (without saying the tags for a better look, and DSi resized images added)

Admins stop being soft and saying yes to everything. If you find it pointless. Then reject it. Blogs should only be Newsworthy articles that'll teach or help the site. Not a story of a paragraph.

I agree. I've seen some very pointless, dumb blogs. Not every blog needs to be news, but it needs to be interesting, something that'll catch the users' eye. Blogs are just becoming messed up my n00bs, so come on people. Write you OWN, dont steal anyone elses blog from other sites, or copy-and-paste without stating the source and getting permission from the owner.

Do that, and you can actuallyget your blog accepted for a GOOD reason.

well you can put tags on you're blog but i think you shouldn't put it on the title. some people are jealous, they always say: Wow,I gots bored at the word Hello,! it a real blog comment from my friend AOD Productions. and it was by LOLgirl123. but yeah i agree with you.

Yes, I agree GleeoK! I can resize images in photoshop... BTW you spelled accepted as acepted, I thought I would let you know for future reference. I'm good at spoting spelling errors. :3 Although I may have spelling errors sometimes...
