Yes. they can get a welcome message. i have a friend that just join dsipaint and he has one welcome message. i think hull just made a new bot called the welcome bot? i forgot?

@Ricky0 The WelcomeBot was introduced to the site just over a month ago, so it is fairly new. Obviously, most active members here have never received a message from it because it didn't exist at the time.

I think we need a better welcome from our members too. Us users need to treat "noobs" better than other sites. By being less cruel, maybe people will stay on longer than one day. This might give us a great reputation.

oh? well? i think its good. if they need that much info. they can read the rules on the sticky or they can try too find my blog. my blog gives more info.

Also when there in a chat room. they have some commands on there. so when you go on. it will tell you some commands. they can type /rules in a chat. they will get more info there.

The chatroom rules command isn't very helpful. Might be good if it were to be expanded some.
