Following/favoriting a thread is a forum staple, but since the SDK boards are so small right now, I don't see that (or many other fairly common forum features) happening.
Perhaps there could be alerts for replies to BB threads that you had created. But there's the problem of a cluttered alerts box, so options for customizing one's alert box might be a resulting idea.
Sif think of it like Nintendo Power or GameInformer, magazines you pay for them to get you news and entertainment at a normal rate like a new issue every month, but with here it's free and it alerts you when the person you subscribed crestes something new.
There's nothing to look forward to at 4 AM, is there?
it could work... maybe not for individual people.. but maybea section..
EX. lets say that Someone creates a new Thread in the Pokemon forum. Kingofdarkness, who follows the Pokemon Forum, would get an email saying that I posted a new thread.
@Dillybar65 Well, for "featured BBs", we have stickies. Though I don't see why more admins would be required for maintaining something like favorites/subscriptions.
As for subscribing to a specific user, that would require a whole new friendlist-alert-esque interface. Some things are just better off remaining non-automated.
I Am not understanding what you are saying propably. however, i think i kind of understand what you are saying... categorised? for bbs? Well, they are already set in groups.
