You people are funny.
The security overview was merely something to keep you all slated while we continue to work. The actual security measure amounts to about 1 line of code, and I'm no expert, but most sites seem to use straight sha1 hashes(I would not be surprised if Paint used all those security measures and more though xD). I just thought you'd like a little look at how we're trying to improve the site.
Since the way development seems to be working ATM(I write the code, Lunch skins it), release should be anywhere from a few weeks to a month or two away. Don't forget, we do this on our free time(I don't get a lot especially since I'm starting college tomorrow) and out of our own pocket, don't make you view ads, or make you pay subscription fees.
I would've liked to release before, but releasing a half working site leads to disinterest fast.

I wish that everyone in charge of the site would realize that fancy BS only gets you halfway there. Honestly, I would be content with just the HubHub functionality with profile editing. That's all I wan't.

"Fancy BS" is writing code the right way. You guys seem to forget that we do this entirely out of the goodness of our hearts. I'm paying large sums of money out of my pocket for no other reason other then that I decided to do this. If you want it out sooner, the correct way to ask is "I like this site, is there any way it could be released sooner, I don't mind if a large portion of features were missing. That's ok since I only use a few to begin with"
That's pleasant and nice and it doesn't make people angry or want to start flame wars.
When you're like "OMG TEH MINS CN'T C0ude anything n 0nly work on fancy things" It comes off as mean and nasty and has the added effect that it makes me want to work less because you're convincing me my users are jerks.
We will take the request to release with less features under consideration.
Oh and by the way, I am a Hub admin and somewhere around 80% of the backend code that's driving Hub is in fact written by me. I wrote the user auth system, status system, banning, security, administrate our own private server.

Also, I'm not really sure what promises we made, but I always preface my statements about release with "probably". Since apparently you guys are super sensitive about dates, I'll just say this:
"DSiHub might be out soon, but it might not be, who knows?"
Which in normal speak is essentially:
"Hub will be out soon" but since I might break that promise since we're all busy with school and don't have lots of time, who really knows? It's a possibility that it won't be out soon.
We're doing our best. You're either going to have to settle for that, or nothing. And no, this is not our job. Where you got the idea that we have some sort of obligation to run this site, I'm not sure... But we are trying to correct a lot of our mistakes with this build. We didn't recycle any code at all this time, and weren't under pressure so we didn't write bad code, so all I can say is that it will (probably(must remember to not make promises...)) be higher quality.

Also one more thing, while it seems the designers like designing for the 3DS, the entire site is modular. I personally develop with junk in plain text and no formatting at all. And here's a promise I will do my best to keep, I'll do what I can to make sure there's something for DSi users. I'd rather see the site for the DSi, but w/e. However, since the biggest change that I see with the 3DS is the bigger top screen, it might be trivial to change it to the DSi format. I don't really know. But I'll do what I can to make sure there's something for DSi users(I'm a DSi User myself, when I'm not using my computers)
