Link, the defender of the land of Hyrule. A Master swordsman and hero, who is so pure of heart that he can wield the legendary Master Sword, which is the "Blade of Evil's Bane", meaning it repels all evil. He is so courageous that he possesses the Triforce of Courage. He has sworn to defend Princess Zelda and Hyrule, namely from Ganon/Ganondorf, the Demon King of the Gerudo Tribe, who posseses the Triforce of Power.
